Forms
Sometimes the company or organisation that has published a web page will want to collect information from you. This is done using forms. Special fields, or input boxes, are displayed for you to enter the required details - name, address, postcode, credit card number, etc. Sometimes list boxes and tick boxes are also included.
There is a special Send button to click when you have completed the form. This sends your details via the Internet to the organisation requesting the information.
After sending a form, a special thank you page is sometimes displayed. You may also be sent an e-mail regarding the form.
Some fields on a form require an entry, others don't. If you miss a required field, you will normally be informed and asked to fill it in - your form will not be sent until all required fields are completed.
